Jane J. Kim



Jane is an associate whose practice is focused on complex business litigation in state and federal courts.  Jane has represented both individuals and corporate entities in a variety of matters including class action and tort litigation, employment litigation, mergers and acquisition litigation, breach of contract disputes, and unclaimed property audit defense.

Prior to joining Tabet DiVito & Rothstein, Jane was an associate at a boutique litigation firm.  Jane also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Daniel J. Kubasiak of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division.  There, Jane researched and wrote on matters involving breach of contract, taxation, and consumer protection issues.

While in law school, Jane volunteered to provide legal help to local veterans with the Illinois College of Law’s Veterans Legal Clinic.  In addition to being a Tax and Library Research Assistant, Jane served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, Editor for the Comparative Labor Law & Policy Journal, and Member of the Elder Law Journal.

Prior to law school, Jane worked at a multinational company applying financial analysis and accounting procedures for various corporate legal departments and performing internal audits for international and domestic company affiliates.  Jane also worked as an auditor at both a Big Four and national accounting firm.

Jane is a Certified Public Accountant and is fluent in Korean.
