Profile
Nate Goodman is an associate whose practice is focused on complex civil and commercial litigation. Nate brings a distinctive background as a federal judicial law clerk, having served two judges in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. During his clerkships, Nate handled a variety of cases including, but not limited to, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, intellectual property and patent litigation, consumer protection, and constitutional challenges.
Prior to his clerkships, Nate served as an in-house staff attorney for one of the nation’s largest multi-employer pension and health and welfare funds, where he represented the organization in arbitration and before state and federal courts concerning ERISA-related matters including withdrawal liability, contribution liability, subrogation, and overpayment liability. Nate also represented the organization in bankruptcy matters. He has experience in all phases of litigation.
