TDR is proud to announce that after an extensive interview process, the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability recently nominated partner Kyle Cooper to fill one of the open positions on the Chicago Police Board. The Chicago Police Board is a nine-person body that metes out discipline in the most serious cases of alleged misconduct by Chicago police officers. In addition to his work at TDR, Cooper currently serves as a Chicago Police Board Appeals Officer where he consider appeals by applicants for a probationary police officer position who have been removed from the Chicago Police Department’s eligibility list due to the results of a background investigation. The Mayor’s appointment decisions are due October 28, 2023 and are subject to City Council approval.
