Tabet DiVito & Rothstein is proud to announce that the Chicago City Council approved the appointment of partner Kyle A. Cooper to the Chicago Police Board. Mayor Brandon Johnson designated Kyle president of the Board.

The Chicago Police Board is a nine-person body that metes out discipline in the most serious cases of alleged misconduct by Chicago police officers. Kyle was nominated to serve on the Board by the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability after an extensive interview process.

Speaking about his appointment, Kyle stated, “I am honored and excited to serve in this important position and look forward to continuing the crucial work the Board does to strengthen trust, transparency, and accountability between the Chicago Police Department and the communities it serves.”
